SGF AND 36 SSGs DISCUSSES PPP IN MINNA

The office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and all the 36 Secretaries to State Government (SSGs) will converge in Minna for the 3rd bi-annual retreat. In a statement signed by the Special Assistant to the SGF, Mr. Yusuf Addy, the meeting will hold on the 4th and 5th of June at Minna. According to him, the retreat is a forum established for joint exchange of ideas and topical issues of vital importance to the development of the nation, it is also an avenue to promote collaborative effort in governance and a harmonious working relationship between Federal and State Governments. The retreat according to the statement, will be conducted in three plenary sessions, to discus issues such as Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Infrastructural Development and Vision 2020, the global economic crisis, the implication for Nigeria and achieving MDGs through the eradication of endemic poverty in Nigeria.
